How To Join a Virtual Book Club

As someone who sticks to mainly one genre, I found book clubs to be a great way to venture off and try something new. I’ve been in a couple of different book clubs, and each one forced me to try something new. And most of the time, I ended up loving it! It’s very interesting to see someone else’s opinions and thoughts. Sometimes it’s fun to just have a friendly debate. I found book clubs to be a great way to venture out on a book. I’ve been in both real-life book clubs and virtual book clubs, but today I’ll show you how to join a virtual one.

How To:

First, you’re going to find a platform that has book clubs. A couple of popular platforms are Bookclubs.com, Goodreads, and Fable ( Click for my book club ). My personal favorite is Fable. Not only can you join book clubs, but you can also track your reading progress and lists. There are many different clubs that have different genres or themes. Find a club that reads similar to you! Orrrr you can try something new!

Then,  once you’ve joined, you can either wait until the next read or you can hop right in. As long as you think you can catch up. Make sure you have a way to acquire the current book and the next book. Take notes! You’re going to discuss the book with your club later on. Take notes so you can ensure that you remember important things you wanted to talk about! Make sure to stay updated on your book club, so you’re not surprised when they move on to the next chapter or book.

Book clubs are super easy to join! No cost, just a fun way to make friends and discuss your opinions on whatever caught your interest. Have fun!
